Amanda K. Hoffman
I’m a Vermont native. I founded Keehar Group in 2023 with the goal of assisting nonprofit boards and executives to decipher their mission alignment with operational efficiencies to drive impact with the communities they serve.
In my professional life, I have had the privilege of working alongside a few mountain movers. My early connections in Boston, in both financial services and technology consulting, granted me direct access to executives as a partner and began the foundation of my career.
At Forrester Research I identified operational solutions for clients playing a key role in the decision-making process for investments in technology and marketing assets. My enterprise clients included Bank of America, Wells Fargo, JetBlue, American Express, Reebok, Converse, and Fidelity Investments. Those connections were invaluable and lasting.
As Executive Director at Invest in Girls (IIG), I spearheaded the development, deployment and expansion of a financial education curriculum for high school girls exposing them to career paths in the finance industry. During my time, IIG launched a longitudinal study with Boston University, which is ongoing and expanded programming from just 60 girls at inception to over 3,500 in seven states before IIG was acquired by the Council for Economic Education and integrated into a national curriculum. Most recently, as Development Director at Girls on the Run Vermont, I managed annual initiatives and secured funding to bridge a financial gap caused by the pandemic, ensuring the organization's solvency. Additionally, I instituted and expanded statewide contracts with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont, M&T Bank, and Casella. In both of these roles I became fluent in grant writing and foundation appeals, securing support from diverse sources.
My approach is rooted in a deep understanding of Vermont's community dynamics, both rural and urban, an ability to engage stakeholders at any level, and a passion for working with nonprofits seeking to deliver impactful programs to Vermonters. The world is changing, and so are the needs of nonprofits. I work closely with my clients helping them identify vulnerabilities, opportunities, and philanthropic resources to secure a stable and sustainable future.
